Happy New Year! As we welcome the year 2022, we wanted to reflect on the past year, the ups and downs, uncertainties, disappointments, and many amazing celebrations.
Whether their wedding was originally planned for 2021 or was the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th attempt to push back a dream due to an awful pandemic, several couples tiptoed lightly in 2021… hoping for their dream day to unfold the way they envisioned.
2021 brought some more hesitancy and worry than most had initially planned. It also brought some beautiful celebrations amidst the hard times. The weddings that took place at Providence Vineyard were nights to remember. Each a time for people to come together and feel a sense of community; a breath of fresh air. For our couples that tied the knot in 2021- we saw true LOVE. And what a time to celebrate LOVE- when the world needs it so much right now! One particular couple, Kristy & Skyler, tied the knot in September 2021. Their day was truly spectacular.
Unique & Bold Style:
We absolutely LOVE the moody tones and bold touches that this wedding had. Wine models, vintage furniture, unique altar, and neutral colors were just some of the concepts that made this wedding STUNNING. The florals done by Bird & Bumble tie everything together so nicely. The bride and groom even wrote personalized notes to each of their guests that were left at their seat- what an amazing gesture to help their friends and family feel appreciated and an integral part of such an amazing day. Citrine Pine Photography captured the most amazing shots of this picture perfect September wedding at Providence Vineyard.
What a fun and unique way to serve wine!
A fangirl passing out fans is such a bold and unique touch to this wedding!
Vintage furniture both inside the white glam barn and outside with a lush backdrop.
Beautiful florals by Bird & Bumble throughout the venue, including under the chandeliers at the bar.
The beautiful hand made altar utilized both during the outdoor ceremony and as a backdrop during the indoor reception.
The Venue:
Providence Vineyard provided a blank canvas for Kristy and Skyler to make their own. This couple truly had vision to make this indoor/outdoor space an incredible sight for their guests and place to commit to each other. Their beautiful hand-made altar, vintage furniture, and unique drink displays on the back patio and inside the glam white barn gave some pop of color and a relaxed vibe.
Above all, Skyler and Kristy went into their wedding with a fearless attitude- excited to celebrate their love with their own style. At Providence Vineyard, we want to enter 2022 with a POSITIVE OUTLOOK, EXCITEMENT, and BOLDNESS. Matthew 6:25-34 is a verse we cling to when worried about the future:
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
At Providence Vineyard, we are going to tackle 2022 with a fearless attitude, hope, and a readiness to celebrate LOVE. Love is what is most important in this world and what perseveres through the hard times in the world around us. We are ready for 2022. Are you?
Stay tuned for more 2021 and 2022 wedding highlights in our future posts!
